Broll feature nine times across four categories in the MENA region for Euromoney Awards

The Broll Property Group, under the leadership of Group CEO Malcolm Horne, and its affiliates have been overwhelmingly honoured as one of the finest real estate performers in the world, in the 16th global 2020 Euromoney Real Estate Survey. Broll Property Group and Broll Valuations and Advisory Services feature nine times across four categories in the MENA region.

Broll Property Group is also delighted to acknowledge Cushman & Wakefield for being recognised in the third consecutive year, as the world's top commercial real estate advisor and consultant. In 2019 the Broll Property Group signed an affiliation agreement for its Occupier Services division, resulting in the launch of the brand Cushman & Wakefield | BROLL. This strategy has paid enormous dividends for Broll, not least of which is this latest honour.

The Broll Property Group and Broll Valuation and Advisory Services secured first places in the category Adviser and Consultants; sub-categories 'Lettings/Sales' and 'Research', and, as a Group, came in at third place in the sub-category 'Overall'. In the aforementioned sub-categories a third, fourth, and sixth place were secured, as well as a seventh placement in the Property Valuation sub-category.

Malcolm Horne, who himself was recently announced as one of two nominees for a Lifetime Achievement Award by API, an industry body that seeks to recognise excellence in Africa's real estate sector, is justifiably proud of his Pan-African teams, who he acknowledges as the catalysts in manifesting these multiple Euromoney Awards. "Together, we have built a proudly African-owned services business that delivers at a level comparable to the best in the world, and at the highest of international standards.

"This puts us directly in competition with other world-class and local real estate service providers, and highlights the Broll Property Group as making a significant contribution to the professionalisation of the property services sector on the African continent. We are steadfast in our uncompromising standards to ensure we deliver the best in platforms, technology, and services. More than this we have some of the best property people in the world - literally! It is they who keep Broll progressive, relevant and driven to exceed our clients expectations and needs."

"Validation of this is evident in my esteemed colleagues recent nominations as finalists in this year's API (African Property Investment) Awards 2020. My hearty congratulations go to Nnenna Alintah, Head: Occupier Services at Broll Nigeria, and Jess Cleland, Group MD East Africa & Indian Ocean who are nominated in the category Women in African Real Estate; Vivian Ombwayo, Director, Research and Valuation, Broll Kenya, is up for Young Property Person of the Year, and Joseph Amo-Mensah, CEO Broll Ghana, in the category for Top Africa Real Estate CEO of the Year."

Horne further commented that in a commercial world such as real estate, and where the war for talent and pressure to deliver operational efficiencies has never been fiercer, distinctive and substantial performance requires "deliberate, innovative insight into real estate strategies and asset value growth opportunities."

Equally thrilled by the API nominations and Euromoney Awards is Bolaji Edu, the Broll Nigeria Chief Executive Officer, whose regional teams nabbed the Overall, Agency Letting/Sales, and Research awards. "The Euromoney Awards are especially significant as they are voted for by our peers in the industry," says Edu. "Winning so many of them stands as testament to our expertise and the successful collaboration of the Broll teams.

"Specifically for Broll Nigeria it is evidence that our clients are being actively and proactively supported, and it remains our mission to continue to advance and lead the industry with the world's best service levels. It would also be remiss of me not to highlight the value of the leadership of Malcolm Horne, who has set our Broll people solidly on the path of progression for all of us who experience daily his extraordinary contribution and passion for the property industry." Edu said.

Broll's recent awards and accolades across the EMEA region affirm and entrench its preeminent position as a world-class professional property service provider. The Group's remarkable reach across the continent since it was established in 1975, now extends across 15 countries and includes a portfolio of highly-regarded blue-chip corporations, fueling it to further expand its services and initiatives. Relationships, high-performance and service excellence are core tenents which continue to drive Broll to serve and elevate the continent's real estate sector as it steps progressively and boldly into the future.
